We are all aware that there is Power in God’s Word. The Bible is a living entity, that means it’s Words are constantly new, refreshing and always bringing life to us when we are followers of Christ. Hopefully we read our Bibles daily but, have you ever thought about posting up Scriptures in your home? This is something we do frequently. It can be done in so many different ways.
If you or others in your family are struggling with a circumstance and you need a reminder of what God says about your situation then this may be a great idea for you. It is so easy for us to read a promise or solution in the Bible and then later forget what it said. But if that Word is written, posted up, and available for us to see on a daily basis, then it is much more effective in our lives. It becomes like a tool in our spiritual tool belt.
If it is a more personal situation, you may not want these scriptures decorated and all around the home for everyone to see but rather in private areas. What we do in this case is take small note cards, write out the scriptures that apply to what we are going through or battling with, and then placed them where we can see them multiple times a day. Some areas these scripture cards can be placed would be, on the back of a bathroom door, in a frequented closet, on a book mark in our favorite book, or even over our beds on the ceiling. These reminders may help us overcome a bad habit, encourage us in what seems to be a hopeless situation, calm our fears, and help in many other ways. The Bible has a Solid Word for all our needs.
