As I sat on my bed looking at my bulging craft closet door, that looked like at any minute it would give birth to an explosion of sewing and crafting supplies I realized that something had to give. I could not longer stick my head in the sand and pretend not to see the paint projects and scraps of fabric peeking out and saying “hello have you forgot about us?” I gulped and took a deep breath like I was about to step into an active war zone.

After hours of sorting, tossing, wiping, and organizing I felt a sense of accomplishment and relief. I once again could find inspiration from my craft closet rather than dread and apprehension! I think if we were all honest with each other , cleaning is not something that the majority of us enjoy. All of us find comfort and peace in a home that is clean and tidy. Have you ever noticed how your family will always gravitate towards the clean rooms of your home. It is the comfort and unspoken safety that they feel, and often they don’t even know why they feel it!
